Rush and Foltz gone on NAHL stint!

By Kings, 11/14/18, 10:00PM EST

The Atlanta Kings sent Defenseman Cullen Rush and Forward Jason Foltz to the Austin Bruins of the NAHL on Sunday. “It’s a great opportunity for the boys”, said Coach St. Jacques. “It helps motivate all the guys to want to do their best when their teammates get called up. It’s our job to prepare them for these moments!”

Jason leads the team in scoring with 8 Goals and 16 Assists. “Jason has great skill and skating abilities and will play at that level soon, he’s dynamic and can score goals”, Coach St. Jacques reflecting on both kids strengths. “Cullen has great offensive abilities and is a strong skater. I’ve coached Cullen for three years now, and he has transformed himself into a great player filling out his body, becoming stronger, and faster. Cullen sees the ice really well and has a tremendous attitude that’s why he’s wearing our C this year!” Cullen leads the Defense in scoring and is fourth on the team with 5 Goals and 9 Assists.

“Both players are self-motivated and can change a game in one shift”, said St Jacques. “They each have several schools looking at them at the NCAA D3 level, but if they can get to Tier 2 and produce at that level D1 schools will take notice. We are a very young Premier team this year.  These guys are two out of several 2000’s and 2001’s I have this year that are really good players. The future is bright for the Atlanta Kings!”
